It is
the hope that once a show design is completed that there will be no need for revising or rewrites. Usually this problem
is taken care of in the early part of the design. This is why it is important for any director in preliminary discussions
to settle on the numbers.
However, certain circumstances may dictate such a need for a drill rewrite. The first initial rewrite or any rewrite
involving minor changes will be done at no cost. After that a fee of 10% of the contracted price per
rewrite will be charged.
Time is an important
consideration when it comes to rewrites. The designer must be given a reasonable amount of time to make any changes
necessary. Lack of time will result in a product that is below the high standard of quality that JMC expects.
